On July 2, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) released a proposed rule titled, Heat Injury and Illness Prevention in Outdoor and Indoor Work Settings. The rule proposes to require employers to develop a Heat Injury and Illness Prevention Plan to control and mitigate hazards in the workplace impacted by excessive heat.
